What We Believe
1. We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. (2 Tim. 3:16 & 2 Peter 1:20-21)
2. We believe in the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:19)
3. We believe in the Trinity, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, and in Jesus dwells the fullness of the
Godhead bodily. (Col. 2:8-9, Matt. 28:19, 1 John 5:7)
4. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. (1Tim. 3:16, Acts 1:11, Rom. 8:34)
5. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and water baptism by
immersion after salvation. (Eph. 2:5-9, Acts 2:38; 8:35-39)
6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in the church, and the baptism of the
Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. (1 Cor. 12:4-13, Acts 2:1-4)
7. We believe in the observance of the Lord's Supper. (1Cor. 11:24-25)
8. We believe Christians should demonstrate the fruit of the spirit. (Gal. 5:22-23)
9. We believe in training people for the work of ministry. (Eph. 4:11-13)
10. We believe in the return of Jesus, first to catch away the righteous who have died in Christ,
then to catch away those that are alive and remain in Christ, also known as the rapture of
the church. (1Thess. 4:16-18)
11. We believe in the Great White Throne Judgement of the ungodly. (Rev. 20:11-15)
12. We believe in the sanctity of marriage. (Gen. 2:24, Heb. 13:4)
13. We believe in living a holy life. (Heb. 12:14, 1 Thess. 4:7, 2 Cor. 7:1)
