Our church began In June 2002. We were holding meetings at the Gino A. Marcus Community Centre. We
started with approximately 30 people and a desire to do the work of the Lord. After two years we grew in
membership and acquired the necessary equipment and gear to function as a church. We eventually expanded
to rent not just one room, but four rooms at the community center in order to run a variety of programs. As we see
outward growth in our church, we also know that God is moving in the hearts of the people in our congregation
who truly keep this work alive. People are growing in their faith and belief that God is truly able to exceed the
limitations of what we think is possible.
Our congregation moved to a temporary location in 2007 with plans of returning to the core area of the city once
we saved enough funds to purchase a suitable property. Through the amazing provision and grace of God we
were able to purchase a building located just a few blocks down from our first location. On April 15th of 2008,
exactly one year from the time we moved we took possession of 1457 Drouillard Rd., a beautiful building with a
commercial kitchen, sunday school rooms in the lower level, a large sanctuary with a balcony.
The greatest contribution we can make to people and this City is the promotion of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many things promoted in our world today that cause hardship, despair and loss. Our history as a
church is just beginning and will draw to a close at the glorious rapture of the body of Christ. Until then we must
labour and trust the Lord for souls to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and remain faithful to the call.
