              LATEST EVENTS
      Breakfast meetings have been fantastic
     this year. Here are a list of some of the
     topics:

  • Starfish and Christians- Great
    Powerpoint presentation about starfish
    and a discussion of how starfish are like
    Christians (see the devotional on the right)
  • Teamwork - The men all participated in a
    group exercise using the Helium Stick. It
    was awesome to see the original group
    dynamics and the resulting dilemma. They
    eventually realised the problem and
    solved it as a team by working together.
  • Positive Feedback - Bob showed his  
    design for a new wheel barrow. Then all
    of the men got to comment on it. A good
    demonstration was given of how we can
    be negative towards other's ideas. God
    wants us to be discerning—we need to
    know good from bad—but He does'nt
    want us to focus on the bad and become
    critical or discouraged. Even in
    circumstances that are less than ideal
    (Paul was writing from prison), we can find
    something good because in times of
    trouble God is still at work.
  • Hurry up & Slow Down - We had a
    demonstration, by a motorcycle drill team,
    of how going too fast can get you into
    trouble.
